Someone times we want to open the desktop view of Facebook on our mobile phones, reason being there are certain functionalities which can be done on desktop view only, for example un-tagging a photo, hiding it from your timeline, reporting some photo as abuse or few more. In this post I will mention about the way to access the desktop view of Facebook on your iPhone but keep one thing in mind that you will not be able to access any link available on the left hand line column of the display.
For opening the desktop login page, go to https://facebook.com/?m2w, and then login with the credentials.
Now again you will be automatically directed to the mobile view of the Facebook. So, tap on your address bar and then enter the address again, now you will see the desktop view of your Facebook home page.
As mentioned earlier none of the link available on the left hand side will not work, but if you want to reach out to the photos then you can, go to profile page and then click ‘Photos’ there. From that section you can un-tag yourself or perform any other operation related to the photos. Similarly from the home page you upload any photo.
As far uploading a photo is concerned then you can upload a photo from any phone even if you don’t have any application for that.
When links available on the left hand side are not working, then obviously you cannot use all the functionality of Facebook from your cellphone but at least you can do the needful as mentioned above. Now let me tell you that sometimes you might not be able to open the images normally as you do on your computer, for that you will have to refresh the page again and make sure that it has been loaded completely.
