MoovFX Echo is an App that will allow you to control the delay with your iPhone movements. The app can be used to set up your Guitar’s movement range and scales between two points. The app is really simple and easy to use and has a very nice user interface. The app has been developed  with a 2 years of research into sensor technology by TangibleFX. The app is serves the purpose of a motion controlled effects pedal. The app is simple and easy to use, you can simply plug the guitar into your phone and use your guitar movements to add an echo effect to your playing.

This is the first screen which will open up when you will launch the application for the first time after installing it from the Apple store. The app has an ON/OFF button in the centre and the4 buttons around it for the four presets. The app comes in two versions normal as well as lite. The normal version is for $6.99 whereas the lite version is free.

Both the version of the apps i.e. the normal and the lite have these 3 screens in common. The app opens up with this screen. As you can see it has got many buttons that you can press by tapping on the screen. at the top corners of the screen there are two arrows tow navigate to the left as well as right. The 4 numbers are the 4 presets that can be selected based on the effect that you want to apply. The yellow button in the middle is used to control the app by turning in on and off thus saving the precious battery life. The lock at the bottom left hand corner will keep your screen locked during the performance. The screen also shows you the total delay mix in at a particular position.

This is the screen that will open when you will navigate to the left of the screen. The screen shows you four cubes representing four presets and when you tap on any one of them it will open the options window where you can modify the various parameters like Type, BPM, Time and Repeat for each preset. This feature however is only available in the Paid version. In the lite version of the app you can’t modify the parameters you will only have to use it with default preset settings.

This is the screen that will open when you will navigate to the right of the screen using the arrow on the top right corner of the app. The screen has options to contact the developer of this app that is TangibleFX. You can also reach the forum of this app ask various question about it with other users. It also has option from which you can access the PDF document as well as the videos.

This is the screen which will open up only in the paid version when you will click on the screen which has 4 cubes each representing a preset. Every preset has two set of settings Echo Settings and Echo Range. Apart from this you can also torn off the BPM sync which is on by default. You can also modify the repeat percentage using the slider.

These are the set of options that you will get when you will change the Type in the Echo Settings window. It has only two values Mix and Add.

These are the set of options that you will get when you will change the Time in the Echo Settings window. It has values starting from 1 and ending at 300.

These are the set of options that you will get when you will try to change the Type in the Echo Settings window. It has various values like 1/2T, 1/2, 1/2., 1/4T, 1/4, 1/4., 1/8T, 1/8, 1/8., 1/16T, 1/16, 1/16., 1/32T, 1/32 and 1/32. .

This screen will open up when you will select the Echo Range from the bottom. The screen sets up your guitar’s movement range and scales between two points Min Echo and Max Echo. At Min Echo you apply 0% echo effect and at Max Echo you apply echo effect at 100%. In order to customize these points simply move your guitar and tap the if you want to apply it to the Min Echo or Max Echo and the same way do it for the other.

According to me MoovFX Echo is the best option in terms of features, GUI and its user friendliness if you are looking for applications in this category.
