Google Cloud Print App for Android Review

Undoubtedly future lies in cloud. Taking a step further in that direction Google released an app which lets you print documents from any android phone. The only condition is the printer has to be cloud connected.

Set up a Cloud Printer

The cloud printer (for Google) can be done through Google Chrome. Once you have your printer connected to the system, roll over to Chrome settings, in the Google Cloud Print and click on Add Printers. Within few moments your printer will be ready to take the printing jobs from cloud.

Once you have set up the cloud printer, next thing you should do is install the free Cloud Print App for Android. The 1.9 MB app is feature packed. The features include printing either documents or even photos directly from an Android phone to cloud connected printer. The app allows you to directly print photos from gallery itself.

Google cloud Print

To Print a document from your Android phone, open the Cloud Print app. And tap on the printer icon at the right hand top corner. You will be prompted to chose documents either from the Gallery or from Dropbox and other applications. There should not be any problem while making a print job if you already have a cloud connected printer (via Google Chrome).

The application is most suited for the occasions like printing a document from home to a office printer or vice-versa assuming that the computer is on and connected to a cloud printer via Google Chrome.

Though there are other cloud printing solutions like HP ePrint, but the hassle-free and extremely quick set up of Google Cloud Print app makes it irresistible and scores over other contemporaries. Printing from Android has never been easier to use.
