If you are dealing with the phone numbers where most of them include extension numbers, then we do have a very simple solution to it to save your time. Usually, when the call is connected then you need to enter those extension numbers, usually you cannot save them on the phone and every time you will have to enter them manually. Today in this post we will mention a way in which you can add that number in the same contact details (we will not use any other application or jailbreak tweak of this)

Open the details of any contact in the ‘Edit’ Mode and then take your cursor in the mobile number at the end of the last digit and then press the key at left hand bottom corner ‘+*#’.

On the other keypad, press ‘wait’, this will add a semi-colon (;) after the last digit in the contacts number.

Now you can add an extension number and then save. You can see that I have made you add the wait character which will wait once the number written before is dialed and then will ask you to dial the rest.

Now when you will call that same number, you will see a new button which will say ‘Dial (Extn Number)’. Once the call is connected you can use dial button for that that set of number whenever needed.

Conclusion

This is one of the simple tweaks which are not used very often and thus unknown to many of the users. So, next time when you want to save the number of any restaurant using zomato (with the extension number) then you can use this tweak.
