[How-To] Turn On Auto-Backup for WhatsApp [iPhone]

There are some chats with my friends on Whatsapp which I would love to keep throughout my life and I am sure that you also will be willing to save few of the chats, but it is not possible to keep this thing every time in mind as we have got many other important things in our daily lives. One of the option is available in Whatsapp to the take the backup of the chats manually by email all the log of the chats in a txt file to your email ID. But today if you are an iPhone owner then we will be talking about a new tip with the help of which you will not have to do this manually rather the backup of all the chats and the media file will be taken care of automatically.

Just follow the steps mentioned and you will also know how to do it. Open the application and reach out for the Settings section of the application. Now here tap the option named as ‘Chat Settings’. You will see the screen as mentioned below in the screenshot.

Now tap the option named ‘chat backup’. I know that you must be wondering ‘How Come this Option is available here in this application. Tap it and you will see another screen where it will be mentioned that the Auto-Backup option is disabled yet.

Tap this option and then decide the frequency at which you want to take the backup of the chats. Now let me tell you that this backup will use the storage capacity of your iCloud Drive and all the backup files will be saved there only.
