Now untagging yourself from the Facebook application on iPhone was challenge for me because you will not find any option directly indicating that ‘you can untag yourself’. In this post we will share about a method with the help of which you can untag yourself from any of the photograph from Facebook application of iOS. Nowadays when people have smart gadgets in their hands, they do not prefer to open their laptop or computer and sit in front of them for Facebook whole day and so when they get tagged on any image (while they are on move), then they should have the option to take that down if they don’t like it.
Procedure to Remove From a Tagged Photo on Facebook on iPhone
The steps are simple but it is not visible or easily approachable for the users. So, first of all reach out to that photo and then tap down finger on that image, do not lift your finger unless you see the options as mentioned below.
Now select the option ‘Report Photo’ and then you will be directed to a webpage, where you can either repost abuse for that image or you can un-tag yourself from that image and then press continue. You will not see that image in your timeline or in your photos section any more. This feature is important for the phones specially when you do not have the option to hide any images of your from your timeline which is available in the desktop version of Facebook. So, the least you can do is un-tag yourself.
This feature is a very important feature because you may never know when you get tagged in an unwanted image and if you are not able to take an action at that moment of time then it might become a problem for you. Unluckily this feature is not available in the mobile web version of Facebook.
