Today I will be telling you about a great utility which is their in iPhone and I am sure that you never knew about it because I myself discovered that while playing with it today. There is a smart utility in your Compass application on your iPhone. Compass is one of the rare utilities which must be using every day, people who are usually trekking may find this utility very useful otherwise we seldom use it. Today in this post I am going to help you to find the correct alignment of any plane with the help of your iPhone.

How Does it Work

Open the Compass application and then swipe your fingers to the left to see the alignment utility. Now place your iPhone on your table and if the circles do not overlap each other then it means that the table is not horizontally aligned. In other words I should say that the table is not properly horizontal and the flaw in its alignment is shown by the iPhone.

It can also check the vertical alignment of the iPhone, it may be very useful when you are trying to align the portrait or any other landscape on your wall. Just place your iPhone along with its plane and it will show you whether the alignment is correct or not. The moment the alignment it correct, the circles will overlap each other and then the screen will go green.

Conclusion

This application can be used to check the alignment in against any plane you can also turn it into a game if manually try to overlap the circles (which is tricky enough to irritate you). Please let us know if you face any problem while using this utility and let me also let you that this is the unique feature of the new iOS7 and so you will not find it on any other older version.
