New Tweet Link In iOS 5 Notification Center on iPhone With QuickTweet


After much speculations, Twitter has officially made its entry into iOS and now comes as an integration in iOS 5. For many it might come as a more convenient way to tweet but in actual practice you will find that it still takes some time to tweet on your account.

If you are a big fan of twitter and use it on an hourly or daily basis, you will definitely love this new tweak. QuickTweet is a new tweak available on Cydia for free that lets you tweet directly from the iOS 5 notification center that too very quickly. All you need to be ready with is the official twitter app on the homescreen and an account already signed in.

To download the app go to Cydia search and enter the keywords Quicktweet(without space)


Once installed, you can head to stock settings where you will find QuickTweet.


Here you have a couple of options like Enable/disable toggle, Dismiss NC toggle and Position. You need to have the app enabled in order to use it from the notification center.


Under position you can select the position of the QuickTweet button.


Once you have chosen your preferences just drag down the notification center and you will see a small, white coloured twitterbutton towards the bottom.


Tap on it and a window will pop up. Here you can enter the text you wish to tweet and can also add your current location by pressing Add Location, given at the left bottom.
