We have talked about many gesture driven tweaks that are available on Cydia but the open we are going to talk about is a little different. Unlike the previously covered gesture tweaks, this one can be used from the notification center. Today we will tell you how to Swipe On iPhone Notification Center To Reboot,Respring,Toggle Wi-Fi & Lot more
NcSwipe For Notification Center, which is the name of the tweak, is available for free on cydia store and lets you control many features and take actions right from the notification center. To download the app go to Cydia store and search NCSwipe For Notification Center(Refer to the image below)
Install the tweak and head to your stock settings app where you will find NCSwipe settings. Before you enter the settings, do enable the notifications for NCSwipe from the notification center so that it is shown in the drop down NC.
Enter the same and you will see three toggles at the top. You need to first enable the toggles for each of the gesture.
Now to set the action a gesture would perform, enter the controls section. If you have enabled Right Swipe Gesture, enter Right Gesture Control and similarly for the other two. Here you will have a number of options to choose from, you can set respring, reboot, open url, change music track, toggle wi-fi, increase/decrease volume and many more.
Once you have set the control for a particular gesture, move back to the main NcSwipe settings screen, scroll it down and tap on Apply Changes(this will respring your device)
After you respring your device, pull down the Notification Center and you will see a small icon in the middle with NCSwipe label (hope you enable NCSwipe under Notifications) Now you can use the gestures on this small icon and let the tweak do the rest.
App Requirements: Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad.
Conclusion: Brilliant tweak and really quick at its job. I wish it supported more gestures.
