iPhone is by far the most advanced gadget but there are still some annoying things which have been reminded by users many times. Taking about contact pictures in specific, we do have several contacts in our contacts and each contact will have a picture of its own. When we call a contact its picture is displayed on the screen but when we are texting the same in the message app or using Facetime, the same picture is not displayed and instead some small icons are shown.
If you have a jailbroken iPhone then we have a solution to this often addressed problem. Copic a small tweak which does not add any extra icons on your screen and is solution to the above stated problem. It displays the contact pictures in call logs, favorites, Messages and even Facetime.
You can search it on Cydia as Copic and can install it for free from Big Boss repo. In the image below you can see that it is displaying all the contact pictures in the message app.
In the call log as well one can see the contact pictures.
Likewise in the Favorites section also, it will show all the contact pictures.
As mentioned above it does not put any extra icons on the homescreen and to access the settings of the same you will have to look for Copic in your stock idevice settings. From here you can enable or disable Copic, change global settings like Recent images, Favorite images, addressbook images. Specific settings for Message app are also there so you can turn them on or off particularly for the SMS.
App Requirements: Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad.
Conclusion: Good tweak, solved my problem for contact pictures
