Add Forward, Backward Button In iOS Safari Browser

Browsers like Google Chrome and Firefox have a function of moving on to the next and previous page by pressing the back and forward dedicated button provided next to the address bar  but if we talk about the iOS stock Safari browser things aren’t as convenient as in Windows. In Safari, if one wishes to move to a page which is a couple of steps back or forward he or she will have to press the same button as many times as the number of steps and it is not like in Windows where we can hold the corresponding back or forward button to open a list, which is very inconvenient at times when there is a need to access a previously visited page quickly.

For all the jailbroken iDevice users Cydia is a great source of unofficial tweaks which enhance the functionality of your iOS and the tweak we are going to talk about today will bring a function which is fairly common in all the browsers on desktop PC or laptop. BackForwardList is an cool tweak offered by Big Boss repo which adds the functionality of opening back and forward list and is available for free.

You can search the keyword BackForwardList (remember without any spaces) and install and app. Respring your iPhone and iPad or better restart your device as it might take a long time to respring.

To test the tweak, now you can open the browser, visit a couple of pages and then long press the Back button to open the back list which will contain a list of previously opened pages.

Similarly for the forward list can be accessed by long pressing the forward button.

App Requirements: Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad.

Conclusion: Nice work by the developer,I hope you will like the tweak.
