If your have a jailbroken apple device then we have a solution to it. ListLauncher is a tweak available on Cydia store that helps you find the desired app quickly by creating a list of all the stock and installed apps. To download the same go to Cydia search section and enter ListLauncher (without space).

Once you have installed the app, respring your device. The tweak neither puts an extra icon on the home screen nor does it create a new section inside the stock iPhone settings. Instead it uses the space below the spotlight search and immediately lists your apps there.

This list remains here all the time and there is no way you can hide or unhide it. Also you have alphabets arranged in a column on the extreme right to jump to apps starting with the same letter.

Note: Although its of great use since you would not have to use the spotlight search anymore but if you too many apps installed, the scrolling becomes a bit slow.

App Requirements: Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad.

Conclusion: Good work as it makes finding apps a bit easier but it the list scrolls slowly sometimes and lags.
