Fraud SBSettings Under Top Paid Application on iPhone App Store

If you have been using your iPhone over a long period of time, then ‘SBSettings’ will definitely be familiar to you. SBSettings is a UI jailbreak tweak which can help you to control the brightness, Cellular Data, Wi-Fi, respring, restart, shutdown or few more functionality on your iPhone. This jailbreak tweak is a must, if you have jailbroken your iPhone. Luckily I could see this application in the Top Charts of App Store under the section of ‘Top Paid Applications’.

This is one of the most old jailbreak tweak which has never been available on App Store but now you can see this in Apple App Store. Apple has never any application on App Store to alter the UI of iOS, as it is considered as one of the many important reasons for rejecting the applications from App Store. The screenshot available in the description of the application clearly show that it is changing the UI or I should say these are the exact images of the ‘SBSettings’ jailbreak tweak which is available on Cydia.

Surprise Factor-1

It was really surprising that even if this application does what has been mentioned in the description, then how it can be on App Store.

Moving on to the section of reviews and ratings, 26 users have rated this application, out of which 24 have given it a single start rating and have mentioned a ‘STAY-AWAY’ kind of comments for this application. Users have mentioned that this application is will only put a clock on your screen, everything mentioned in the details of the applications is fraud.

Surprise Factor-2

If out of 26 ratings, 24 are the worst then how can Apple put this application under the ‘Top Paid Applications’ chart and promote it more towards the user.

Surprise Factor-3

Now when almost every user has complaint about this application, then why till now no action has been taken?

Introduction of this fraud application on App Store has led to wastage of money of many users or this way users may also lose their trust from the mentioned description of the application.
