Google Drive Updated with Generate Link Option

Google Drive has stepped one step forward ahead of Dropbox now, though Dropbox is old enough to have large number of user accounts but Google Drive comes with huge amount of space for free which is quite favorable for the users. As we know that now Google offers the users with 25 GB and 15 GB of space for all the services provided by them on a single account, whether it is Google Drive, GMail or any other web service.

Moreover if you want to view any of the doc on Dropbox then it might not show your correctly due to incompatibility with the document formats (which keep on changing every year), but Google Drive on the other hand is equipped with the Google Docs which allows you to view the docs with high compatibility as compared to the Dropbox. Google Drive has been updated recently and now we will be enlisting all the new features which are available in this new update.

Starting up with up with the new icon then you will see that the black background in the icon has been replaced by the white color.

From the list view of the documents in the application you will be able to switch to the thumbnail which will show you the image of the content available in that file.

Like Dropbox you will also be able to generate the link of that file which can shared with anyone in order to show them.

The options related to the files are mentioned clearly and a user can use them with greater ease.

The only problem which I faced was the little amount of lag while putting down the content on any of the document over the application. The application now looks very much the same to that of GMail and the Google Maps application for iOS. Please let us know if you face any problem while using any of the feature on Google Drive for iOS or Android.
