How Opera Browser 14 For Android Decrease Data Consumption on Cellular Network

Opera browser has been rebuilt and out for all the Android phone users in beta mode. So what is different in this browser this time and why should user give preference to this browser as compared to other. Well, the answer can be due to a new look and few new features which have been introduced and cannot be seen in any other browser as of now. You must have heard about Flipboard as they are very well know about the way they present the news to the users and you can think of the new Opera as the browser embedded in Flipboard. New Opera offers discover feature in the similar UI as offered by Flipboard (blocks features) that is the major change in the software apart from these few new features have also been introduced, let talk about them.

The way to browse using this software is conventional and discover section will update you with the latest news in the different sections like entertainment, politics, sport and more. So apart from being a browser it serves the purpose of news reading section also.

It has a new feature named save of offline, which will save the webpages on your phone which can be read using this browser under the conditions where no internet can be accessed. The most favorable condition is while travelling over flights when you have hours of hours with no internet connectivity.

Speed Dials, this is a common feature which is available in all the browsers these days, they will have the list of the websites which are mostly visited by you but a slight twist is that you can add the bookmarks on these speed dials also whereas in other browsers you have a separate section of these bookmarks.

Off-road Mode, is the new feature seen in any browser, Nokia express tries to use this feature of compressing the data used by the browser using cloud storage and thus using less amount of cellular data for browsing. Opera has the same feature but I am not about the principle which it uses but it really saves a lot of data pretty much more than what Nokia Express saves. It varies from 75 to 98 percent data saving.

Tabbed browsing, History section, downloads section and combined search box and with address bar are other mandatory features for browsing which are available with this software also.

Well, I am really impressed by the 2 features, Discover and Off-Road Mode which will offer a new experience to the users browsing on their tablets and phones. I think you can give it a try to this software but I would the suggest the users to wait till the final version is released.
