[Solved] How To Resolve 3G Issue in iOS 6.1.1 on iPhone 4S.

Recently it was rumored that iOS 6.1.1 will be available for the iPhone 5 to make sure that users do not jailbreak the applications, but again iPhone 4S users have been facing this issue of 3G on various networks. Vodafone prompted on its forum that the users using iPhone 4S should not upgrade to iOS 6.1 as they will not be able to use 3G consistently without any issue, Vodafone updated the users only in UK but it seems that the users from the other parts of the world are also facing the same issue.

One of my friend was unable to switch ON their 3G network after this update, but sometimes out of now where it automatically starts working. Now when the Apple has released the new iOS 6.1.1 upgrade for only iPhone users, it is clear that this upgrade was released with only purpose to get that issue rectified and now Vodafone on the same forum has suggested the users to upgrade their iPhone 4S to new iOS.

The best part is that jailbreak of that iOS is again available for that new iOS and you can do that by the same evasi0n tool and by following the same process. It’s just that you will have to download the latest version of that tool. Hackers report that with the release of iOS6.1.1 Apple didn’t even try to save the phone from jailbreak it was an honest attempt to cover-up the 3G issue on iPhone 4S. You can download the jailbreak tool from here and follow the process from here.

Apart from this issue now with the new upgrades in Cydia, the issue related to Weather application and the long boot time has been resolved. Just make sure that you always upgrade the Cydia application files from time to time.
