[Solved] Block Ads in Safari on iPhone, iPad

Browsing experience is always spoilt by the ads pop-up, whether you are browsing on your computer or on your phone, they will not leave you. Now when we have pop-up blockers in our browsers they still manage to overrule them by taking the advantage of our click on the links on the page. You might click a link for some purpose but apart from the useful page few more windows will pop-up as a result of your click, this can be tolerated to a certain limit when we are browsing on computer but when it comes to mobile phone this is intolerable.

There are certain steps which can be taken in order to get rid of this problem, please read further to know how to stop ads in iphone while browsing.

Enable The Popup Blocker In Safari

As you can see a screenshot mentioned above, this is a settings section on your iPhone from where you can enable the popup blocker to avoid this problem to a certain extent.

Switch Off The Javascript Execution in Safari

You must have come across certain advertisements which sometimes appear on your browser screen using the javascripts, now these advertisements do not need click, infact if your mouse icon got hovered over it once then they will cover your whole page and play that ad. Similarly, there are more types in which these ads are present using javascript on your browser page. So, to avoid this problem you can switch off the Javascript section, but then there are many websites which use Javascript enabled login pages and home page. At last it gets tedious for the user to do again and again.

Try Different Browser On iPhone, iPad

The last option is to use other browsing application instead of Safari which have better ad-blocking features, for example Atomic Web Browser, which has got a very good rating for its various features but then if you want a free application then I will direct you towards ‘Perfect Browser’ or ‘Mini-Opera’.

Please let us know by your comments if the above steps do not solve your problem.
