See Real Time Twitter Feeds in Safari [iOS7–New Feature]

If you are atwitter fan then I am sure you will be checking out all the important news over twitter and that is the reason we end opening large number of websites on Safari while using Twitter. So, Safari got smarter and took care of this problem by not letting you go to ‘Twitter’ again. Safari browser no has the option to integrate your Twitter Account in it, so all the news coming up on your twitter feeds will be collected there and if you want to check out the latest news then you will not have to go to the Twitter application rather Safari will be enough.

In this post we will tell you that you can you do that. This feature in Safari is only available to those users who have actually signed into the Twitter account on their iPhone in the Settings section which actually integrates Twitter with all the inbuilt applications on iOS (after taking your permission). Follow the series of steps mentioned below to read your twitter feeds in your Safari browser.

Open the Safari application and then tap the highlighted section (which is usually used to check out the bookmarked pages or any other article added to the Reading List).

iPhone Safari Autofill Username, Passwords

It was always undesired to enter the full form while creating an account on any website or filling any application form for a college online. Google Chrome for the desktop version can remember that for your and enter the first name of yours it populates the rest of the fields in the form, you may not be knowing but your safari browser on iPhone can also do the same. In this post we will tell that how can save the contact information in your browser so that next time when you try to fill any personal information on your iPhone it should automatically popup.

Precondition to this application is that you should a contact entry about yourself which will be used by the Safari browser to save your details and use them on the forms on webpages. Make sure that while creating the contact of your name you should save all the required information over it like name, address, email address and even if the field is not available in the contact entry page, then you will have to add the field and then fill it. The more data you provide the easier it will be for Safari to fill-up the data on the form.

Now go to Settings and then Safari, and then tap the AutoFill section, which has the option to save your passwords and the other contact information.

Safari iOS 6 Guide – Private Browsing, Cookies, Reading List Sync & Landscape Mode Explained

Safari browser has been upgraded with few features which really help the users to browse consistently without any problem. Now all the of the new features are already available in Chrome and Chrome Desktop version is more famous than Apple Safari, then why should a user go Safari at all. Reason being, if you are using iOS 6 then I am sure you must have not jailbreak your iPhone (as untethered jailbreak is not available yet) so it is your default browser and if you are getting all these features in your default browser then why don’t you get habituated to it.

Secondly, the ‘READER’ view, which is really good and makes it really comfortable for the readers to read an article and unluckily this feature, is not available on Google Chrome iOS application. So here on in this post, I will take up 3 new features recently introduced in Safari; Private Browsing (known as Incognito mode in Google Chrome), Reading list syncing and Landscape Mode.

Private Browsing

To initiate this feature you will have to go the Settings and then activate this option. All the browsing and surfing done during this session will not be saved.

image

But as soon as you switch ON or OFF that browsing session you will have the option to close all the already opened tabs or close them before changing the status of the Private Mode.

Once the session turns ON, the color of the browser will change from normally BLUE to BLACK.

Reading List Syncing

If you are using Safari on any other system, then the webpages and links saved on your Apple ID account and whenever you till access the safari from anywhere.

image

This is pretty similar to the Google Chrome Google Account sign-in, where all the bookmarks and other stuff related to the browser are saved on cloud and available whenever you sign-in to Chrome from your Google Account on any other system.

Landscape Mode

This is a new type of view which can help you to read the articles in a better way by removing the border lines of the application. It is like watching a movie on the Full Screen mode.

image

As soon as you take tap at the bottom of the screen, the bar will again come back and then you can turn OFF that mode.

Conclusion

I have used all these features and I would recommend that once you start using them you will be as comfortable on Safari as you were on Chrome. Private Mode is for private and Reading List can be edited from any system on which you are using Safari with the same Apple ID.
