Three best Calculator Apps for iPhone

Whatever it is, Apple’s app store don’t lack calculator applications. But among around 500 available calculator apps, it would be a very hectic task for you to decide the best among them. Therefore we pick best three (which are also free) for you to use for your daily calculations. The choice is not limited just to the students but extends to professionals even.

1. MyScript Calculator

MyScript calculator by Vision Objects is one of the best calculator application a man without money can afford. The myScript calculator uses the best pointing device called your fingers for input.

When you first launch the app, you will be presented a simple white board where you will feel lost for a moment. But try going ahead with writing anything (almost) mathematical on that screen and the app will recognise and convert it and solve it. You will find it nearly miracle when you draw a pie or a square root in the equation and it will solve it accurately.

Even trigonometric equations are solved at the eye blink speed. And you know whats more, you can input angle values in degrees as well as radians.

MyScript app recognises every mathematical notation we use. i.e Square roots, multiplication, division, square, brackets etc. As a bonus you also get an option to share your solved equation via mail or other sharing apps.

2. PCalc Lite

PCalc Lite is our second favourite app for calculations. Although the “Lite” version carries some less features than the complete (which is paid) app but still we found it fit for use in our dailies.

The design of this scientific calculator application will please your eyes at first sight. When you use it in landscape mode automatically you will get more number of options to use from. Personally i found the Undo and redo options quite handy in some debugging problems. An excellent conversion feature for various aspects is also a bonus to the utility. Without forgetting to mention, the app also carries the predefined list of constants (like the value of G) which you use directly without having to refer somewhere else.

3. Free Graphing Calculator

Free Graphing Calculator is an app for drawing (labeled) graphs from the equations quiet easily. The graphs formed act like an active image. That is you can pinch in and out to zoom and zoom out. Whats more is the calculator can even find roots and intersections.

Apart from the Graphing capabilities the application carries also a scientific calculator accompanied by unit conversion abilities. The calculator includes permutations and combinations and even bell curves and CND. The unit converter is great for physics as it does the good job of converting acceleration, angle, area, pressure, speed etc. Like most of the other app the Free Graphing Calculator has constants for scientific calculations.
